Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces Using good-quality sirloin will enhance flavor and tenderness.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For searing the steak.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup beef broth Can substitute with chicken or vegetable broth.
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted For the garlic butter sauce.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Enhances flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the bite-sized steak pieces in a single layer and sear each side for about 2-3 minutes until browned.
  • Remove the seared steak from the skillet and set aside.

Cooking

  • In the crockpot, combine beef broth, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir to mix.
  • Add the seared steak pieces to the crockpot and stir gently to coat.
  • Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4 hours.
  • In the last 30 minutes of cooking, melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, then add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.
  • Pour the garlic butter mixture over the steak bites in the crockpot and stir gently.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes
