Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Elbow Macaroni
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 2 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast cooked and diced
  • 0.25 cup Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Cracked Black Pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika optional
  • 0.25 cup Breadcrumbs optional, for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute to create a roux.
  • Slowly whisk in the milk, stirring consistently until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and mix in the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until melted and creamy.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheese sauce, diced chicken, honey, cracked black pepper, salt, and paprika (if using). Stir until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish. If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for added crunch.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
