Ingredients
  

For the Marinade

  • 1/3 cup sweet chilli sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

For the Salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets Choose fresh salmon for best flavor and texture.
  • optional Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, olive oil, and minced garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring each fillet is well coated. Allow the salmon to marinate for at least 10 minutes.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking, or prepare your grill to medium-high heat.
  • For baking, place marinated salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. For grilling, cook each fillet for 5-7 minutes on each side.
  • Consider basting the salmon with the leftover marinade midway through cooking for enhanced flavor.

Serving

  • Remove the salmon from the oven or grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro or chopped green onions.
  • Serve alongside fluffy rice or quinoa, and fresh vegetables for a complete meal.
