  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional, adjust to taste.

  • 1 cup diced fresh strawberries Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, matcha powder, chia seeds, and a pinch of salt. Mix until evenly combined.
  • Pour in the almond milk and vanilla extract, stirring well to ensure that the oats are fully submerged and the matcha is evenly distributed.
  • If desired, add honey or maple syrup for sweetness and mix again.
  • Gently fold in the diced strawberries, ensuring even distribution.
  • Transfer the mixture to an airtight container, cover, and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.

Serving

  • Before serving, give the oats a good stir, adjusting the consistency with more milk if necessary.
  • Spoon the oats into bowls or glasses and top with additional sliced strawberries and a dash of matcha powder.
  • Enjoy with optional toppings like chia seeds, honey, yogurt or coconut cream.

Notes
