  • 1 can diced tomatoes Add in the juices for more flavor.
  • 1 cup water This helps create the chili sauce.

Preparation

  • Heat a large pot over medium heat and add the lean ground beef, cooking until fully browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Break the meat into smaller pieces as it cooks.
  • Once browned, drain any excess fat from the pot.

Cooking

  • Add the McCormick Chili Seasoning to the pot and stir to coat the beef evenly.
  • Incorporate the drained beans and diced tomatoes, ensuring to include the juices, and add 1 cup of water. Stir to combine.
  • Increase the heat to bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low.
  • Let the chili simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Once done, taste the chili and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  • Serve hot in bowls with optional toppings on the side.
