  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

Preparation

  • Wash the mint leaves thoroughly to remove any dirt and pat them dry.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the plain yogurt and grated cucumber.
  • Add the chopped mint leaves and the finely chopped green chilies if using.
  • Sprinkle in the cumin powder and salt.
  • Pour in the lemon juice and mix everything well until it forms a smooth sauce.
  • Taste and adjust the salt or lemon juice according to your preference.
  • Transfer the sauce to a serving dish and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
