  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Lean protein source
  • 2 pieces zucchinis, sliced Fresh and tender
  • 2 pieces yellow squash, sliced Adds color and flavor
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances flavor
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning
  • as needed Fresh herbs (like basil or thyme) for garnish Adds aromatic touch

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large skillet, pour in the olive oil and heat it over medium heat.

Cooking

  • Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic, zucchini, and squash. Sauté for about 5 minutes until tender.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet with the vegetables. Cover and lower the heat to cook for another 10 minutes.

Serving

  • Before serving, garnish with fresh herbs.
