Instructions
Trim excess fat from the chicken breasts and place them at the bottom of the crockpot.
Chop the onion and mince the garlic. Layer them on top of the chicken.
Pour the barbecue sauce over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
Pour the chicken broth around the edges of the pot, avoiding the layers.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
Once cooked, shred the chicken in the crockpot using two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
Serve the BBQ chicken on buns, in tacos, or over rice as desired.
