bowtie pasta

Italian dressing

vegetables
such as cherry tomatoes, broccoli, bell peppers, chopped

salami
chopped

shredded Parmesan cheese

fresh chopped basil or parsley

Fresh ground pepper
to taste
Instructions
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
Prepare an ice water bath in a large bowl. Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and immediately dunk it into the ice water bath for 30 seconds.
Drain the pasta again and transfer it to a large mixing bowl.
Pour the Italian dressing over the warm pasta and toss to combine.
Add the chopped vegetables, salami, and shredded Parmesan cheese to the bowl. If using, add fresh herbs as well.
Toss everything together until well combined. Season with kosher salt and fresh ground pepper to taste.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least one hour to allow the flavors to meld.
