Tuna
5 ounces, drained

tablespoons
Mayonnaise

Celery
finely chopped

Red Onion

Dijon Mustard

your choice (sourdough, whole wheat, etc.)

Instructions
Preheat your oven’s broiler.
In a small bowl, combine drained tuna, mayonnaise, chopped celery, chopped red onion, and Dijon mustard. Mix until well combined.
Season the tuna mixture with salt and black pepper to taste.
Place the slice of bread on a broiler-safe baking sheet.
Spread the tuna mixture evenly over the bread slice.
Top with 1-2 slices of cheese.
Broil for 2-4 minutes, keeping a close eye until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are toasted.
Carefully remove from the broiler, let cool slightly, then serve warm.

Notes
