Ingredients
  

  • 2 7-ounce boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil or avocado oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme or oregano (or other dried herbs)
  • teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, mix salt, paprika, garlic powder, dried herbs, and black pepper.
  • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness to ensure even cooking.
  • Drizzle the oil over the chicken and coat thoroughly. Sprinkle the seasoning on both sides and rub it in.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket smooth side down. Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook for 7 minutes.
  • Flip the chicken and cook for another 3 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Remove the chicken and let it rest for a few minutes before serving to allow juices to redistribute.
