  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt Use high-quality, unsweetened yogurt
  • 3 large eggs Room temperature eggs are ideal
  • 1 cup almond flour Finely ground for the best texture
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Optional Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder Optional
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder Optional
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Optional
  • Fresh or dried herbs Optional for flavor

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly with cooking spray.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and eggs. Whisk them together until they form a smooth mixture.
  • Add the almond flour, baking powder, and salt to the mixture. If you're using optional ingredients like garlic powder, onion powder, or herbs, add them at this stage.
  • Stir the mixture until all ingredients are well incorporated. The dough will be thick but should hold together nicely.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula for an even surface.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Once baked, remove the bread from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes.
  • Transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
