Ingredients
  

For the yogurt base

  • 2 cups plain yogurt Good-quality yogurt; Greek yogurt works well.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Adjust quantity for sweetness preference.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds flavor to the yogurt base.

For layering

  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) Use any combination of fresh berries.
  • 1/2 cup granola Add just before serving to maintain crunch.
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans) For topping, can choose any preferred nuts.
  • Fresh mint leaves Optional, for garnish.

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, mix the yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Take serving glasses or bowls and begin layering your dessert with a spoonful of the yogurt mixture at the bottom.
  • Add a layer of mixed berries on top of the yogurt.
  • Sprinkle a layer of granola over the berries.
  • Repeat the layers, finishing with a final layer of yogurt.
  • Top with remaining berries, nuts, and mint if desired.
  • Chill the assembled yogurt dessert in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
