  • 1 package 14 oz medium firm tofu, drained
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or vegan butter
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon granulated garlic

Preparation

  • Crumble the tofu in a large bowl using a fork or potato masher, aiming for a texture resembling scrambled eggs.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil or vegan butter in a non-stick skillet over low heat.
  • Add the crumbled tofu to the skillet, followed by nutritional yeast, turmeric, and granulated garlic. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Cook on low to medium-low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the liquid evaporates and the tofu is warmed through.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.

Notes
