Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • as needed ingredients on the back of the box (water, oil, eggs)
  • 1 box strawberry jello (3 oz)
  • 2 cups water
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • as needed red gel frosting
  • as needed plastic vampire teeth optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the cake batter according to the instructions on the box.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • While the cake is baking, prepare the strawberry jello according to package instructions.
  • Once the cake is baked, let it cool completely in the pan.
  • Use a straw to poke holes all over the top of the cooled cake.
  • Pour the prepared jello over the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to set.
  • After the jello has set, frost the top of the cake with Cool Whip.
  • Decorate with red gel frosting and add plastic vampire teeth for fun.
