Ingredients
  

Chicken and Seasoning

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • to taste Salt and pepper for seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Sandwich Assembly

  • 4 slices hearty bread like ciabatta or sourdough
  • 4 cups Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • ½ cup Caesar dressing
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup croutons for topping
  • to taste Fresh lemon wedges for serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat.
  • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Drizzle with olive oil.

Cooking

  • Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and juices run clear. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
  • While the chicken rests, toast the bread slices on the grill until golden brown.
  • Slice the grilled chicken into thin strips.

Assembly

  • Spread a generous amount of Caesar dressing on one side of each toasted bread slice.
  • Layer the chopped Romaine lettuce, sliced chicken, grated Parmesan cheese, and croutons on top of the dressing. Top with the remaining slice of bread, dressing side down.
  • Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges on the side.
