Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans Tuna 5 oz each, drained
  • 0.5 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese or Swiss
  • 2 tablespoons Green Onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Butter for cooking

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine drained tuna, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Fold in shredded cheese and chopped green onions until evenly distributed.
  • Form the mixture into 4-5 equal-sized patties.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt the butter. Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from skillet and place on a paper towel to absorb excess butter. Serve on toasted bread or enjoy as is.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freeze uncooked patties for up to 2 months.
