  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Reese’s pieces

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  • In a large bowl, mix the creamy peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until smooth and creamy.
  • Beat in the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the baking soda, salt, and all-purpose flour. Gradually add this dry mixture to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until just combined.
  • Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and Reese’s pieces until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Baking

  • Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded balls of cookie dough onto the prepared cookie sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes until the edges are slightly golden and the centers appear set.
  • Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
