Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened Should be pliable but cool to the touch.
  • 1 cup brown sugar Packed tightly for accuracy.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs Beat in one at a time.
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour Aerate by whisking.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Chocolate Chips

  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Cream until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  • Gently fold in all chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

Baking

  • Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between each.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are golden brown and centers are soft but set.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
