Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • cups dairy-free chocolate chips
  • 12 oz. silken tofu
  • ¼ cup vegan cream or almond/coconut milk
  • ½ cup granulated sugar or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Instructions
 

  • Melt the dairy-free chocolate chips in the microwave or double boiler until smooth. Let cool for about 5 minutes.
  • In a high-powered blender, combine the melted chocolate, silken tofu, vegan cream, sweetener, vanilla extract, and salt.
  • Blend until completely smooth and creamy. Taste the mousse and adjust sweetness if desired.
  • Pour the mousse into serving bowls or jars and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  • Serve chilled, optionally topped with vegan whipped cream and fresh fruit.
