Ingredients
  

For the Twists

  • 8 oz Puff Pastry Store-bought for convenience
  • 0.5 cup Butter Melted
  • 0.5 cup Granulated Sugar For sweetness
  • 2 tbsp Ground Cinnamon For aromatic flavor
  • 1 whole Egg Optional for egg wash
  • Powdered Sugar For decoration, optional

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Roll out the puff pastry onto a floured surface until it reaches about 1/8 inch thick.
  • Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
  • Coat the rolled pastry with the melted butter, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over it.
  • Slice the pastry into approximately 1-inch strips.
  • Twist each strip several times to create spirals.
  • Place the twisted strips onto the prepared baking sheet.
  • Optional: Brush the twists with an egg wash for a golden color.

Baking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they turn a golden brown.
  • Allow them to cool for a few minutes before dusting with powdered sugar.
