Instructions
Rinse the cranberries under cold water and place them in a medium-sized saucepan with 1 cup of water.
Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, then reduce to low and allow to simmer.
Gradually stir in the granulated sugar until it dissolves completely.
Add lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Stir well and continue simmering for about 10-15 minutes.
Once the cranberries have broken down and the mixture thickens, remove from heat and stir in the orange zest.
Ladle the warm jam into sterilized jars, leaving about half an inch of space at the top.
Wipe the rims of the jars to ensure a good seal, then screw on the lids and allow to cool completely.
