  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 large egg Acts as a binder.
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce For coating the meatballs.
  • to taste salt and pepper Season according to preference.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, soy sauce, minced garlic, and the egg. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Mix the ingredients thoroughly by hand to distribute flavors evenly.
  • Roll small amounts of the mixture between your palms to form golf-ball sized meatballs.

Cooking

  • Place the meatballs gently in a Crockpot, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Pour the sweet chili sauce over the meatballs to coat them generously.
  • Set the Crockpot to low and cook for 6-8 hours, or for a quicker option, cook on high for 3-4 hours.

Serving

  • Serve warm as an appetizer or main dish, optionally over rice or in sliders.
