Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Real Butter Softened
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ½ cup Cherry Juice From maraschino cherry jar
  • 10 oz Maraschino Cherries Chopped
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese Softened
  • ¼ cup Unsalted Butter Softened for frosting
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Milk
  • A pinch Salt For frosting
  • Colorful Sprinkles For decoration

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9x5 loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Cut the softened butter into the dry mixture until crumbly.
  • Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and cherry juice. Mix until just combined.
  • Fold in the chopped maraschino cherries.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool on a wire rack.
  • While cooling, prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating together cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar, followed by milk and a pinch of salt.
  • Once the bread is completely cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting on top and decorate with sprinkles.
