Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar-free sweetener like stevia, erythritol, or monk fruit
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Optional:

  • 1/4 cup sugar-free chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts like walnuts or almonds

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan (8x8-inch works best) with butter or line it with parchment paper for easy removal later.
  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. This ensures the dry ingredients are well combined and ready for the wet ones.
  • Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk the melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and your chosen sugar-free sweetener. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  • Blend Wet and Dry: Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until fully combined. The batter will be thick, which is exactly what you want for that fudgy texture.
  • Optional Add-ins: If you’re using chocolate chips or nuts, fold them into the batter now. This step is optional but highly recommended for that extra chocolatey crunch!
  • Bake: Pour the brownie batter into your prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with a few crumbs. Keep an eye on them – you want them to stay fudgy!
  • Cool and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing. This helps them set and makes them easier to cut into perfect squares.
