Ingredients
  

Truffle Base

  • 2 cups sugar cookies, crushed Ensure cookies are finely crushed for even texture.
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened Use room temperature cream cheese for easier mixing.

Coating and Decoration

  • 1 cup vanilla coating (or white chocolate) Can substitute with milk chocolate or dark chocolate.

Preparation

  • Combine crushed sugar cookies and softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl. Mix until thoroughly blended.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls, about one inch in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Chill the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up the truffles.
  • Meanwhile, melt the vanilla coating or white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth, stirring often.

Coating

  • Remove the chilled truffle balls from the refrigerator and dip each one into the melted coating.
  • Place the coated truffles back on the baking sheet and sprinkle with decorative sprinkles before the coating sets.
  • Let the truffles cool completely at room temperature and transfer to an airtight container for storage.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze the uncoated truffles and thaw in the refrigerator before coating.
