  • 2 cups milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt For a creamier texture.
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup or honey Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced Reserve some for topping.
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese (softened) For a cheesecake-like flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds (optional) For added nutrition.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, mix the rolled oats, chia seeds, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine evenly.
  • In another bowl, whisk together the milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients, and stir until all the oats are well-coated.
  • Fold in the softened cream cheese until evenly distributed.
  • Gently mix in the sliced strawberries, reserving a few for topping later.
  • Divide the mixture evenly into jars or airtight containers, leaving space for extra berries on top.
  • Cover each container and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours to allow flavors to meld and oats to soften.

Serving

  • Serve chilled, topped with the reserved strawberries and an optional drizzle of honey or maple syrup.
