Ingredients
  

Noodles and Base

  • 2 packs ramen noodles
  • 4 cups water for boiling noodles

Sauce and Aromatics

  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha adjust to spice preference
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced fresh is preferred
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced fresh is preferred

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 cup tofu or 1 pound of ground beef or chicken
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables e.g., bell peppers, spinach, carrots

Garnishes

  • Green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a saucepan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Pour in the soy sauce and sriracha, stir well, and let simmer for a few minutes.
  • Add the drained noodles to the pan and toss to coat them in the sauce.
  • Add optional protein or mixed vegetables, stir, and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  • Transfer to serving bowls and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
