Seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin For warmth
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Adds smokiness

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  • Add the diced onion and sauté for 5 minutes, until softened.
  • Introduce minced garlic and diced jalapeños; cook for 2 minutes.
  • Add boneless chicken breasts and chicken broth; bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Carefully remove chicken, shred it with forks, and return it to the pot.

Cooking

  • Stir in heavy cream, ground cumin, paprika, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Incorporate softened cream cheese until fully mixed.
  • Fold in shredded cheddar cheese and let it melt, simmer for another 5 minutes.

Notes
