  • 4-6 tea bags black tea Adjust based on desired strength

Preparation

  • Boil 4 cups of water in a large pot.
  • Once boiling, remove from heat and add the tea bags. Let steep for 10-15 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags and add sugar while the tea is warm, stirring until dissolved.
  • Pour the sweetened tea into a large pitcher and add 4 cups of cold water.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours.
  • When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice, pour tea over, and garnish as desired.
