Mix-Ins

  • 1 cup raisins Use plump raisins for best texture.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.

Mixing Dry Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, combine rolled oats, all-purpose flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Stir well.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until combined.
  • Carefully fold in the raisins.

Baking

  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, ensuring space between them.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
