Snowman Rice Krispie Treats

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter
  • 7 cups Mini Marshmallows Divided
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 8 cups Crisp Rice Cereal
  • 2 cups White Baking Chips
  • Black Sugar Pearls For eyes
  • Carrot Sprinkles For noses
  • 30 round Peppermint Candies For buttons
  • ½ cup Red Candy Melts For scarf
  • 1 pull-and-peel Licorice For earmuffs

Instructions
 

  • Line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
  • Melt the unsalted butter in a large pot over medium-low heat.
  • Add 6 cups of marshmallows to the pot and stir until melted. Remove from heat and add vanilla extract and salt.
  • Stir in the crisp rice cereal and the remaining 1 cup of mini marshmallows until evenly coated.
  • Press the mixture into the prepared pan and let it cool for 30-45 minutes.
  • Cut the cooled mixture into 15 rectangular pieces.
  • Melt the white baking chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals until smooth.
  • Dip the top of each Rice Krispie square into the melted white chocolate and apply decorations.
  • Use red candy melts for scarves and pull-and-peel licorice for earmuffs.
  • Allow the decorations to set completely before serving.
