Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh or canned peaches (sliced, with juice if canned)
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted) 1 stick of butter

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by pouring your fresh or canned peaches directly into the bottom of the slow cooker. If you're using canned peaches, be sure to include some of the juice for extra flavor.
  • Evenly sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the layer of peaches, making sure to cover the peaches completely.
  • Melt your stick of butter and drizzle it generously over the cake mix.

Cooking

  • Cover your slow cooker with the lid and set it to low. Allow it to cook for 4 to 6 hours, until the peaches are bubbly and the cake mix has formed a soft layer on top.

Serving

  • Carefully scoop out portions of the cobbler while it's warm. Optionally, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
