Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts into the slow cooker.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and ranch seasoning. Stir until well blended.
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is coated.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker with its lid. Set it to high for 4 hours or low for 6-7 hours.
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker.
  • Mix in the sour cream and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Serve the creamy chicken over rice, mashed potatoes, or with biscuits.
