  • 2 pounds beef tips Use tender cuts like chuck roast or brisket for best results.
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening) Mix with water to create a slurry.

Preparation

  • Combine the beef tips with the chopped onion and minced garlic in the slow cooker.
  • Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce, ensuring all beef tips are well coated.
  • Sprinkle in salt, black pepper, and dried thyme, then stir gently.

Cooking

  • Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  • If using cornstarch, mix it with a little water to create a slurry and add it to the slow cooker 30 minutes before serving for a thicker sauce.

Serving

  • Once cooked, serve the beef tips hot, garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
