Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs Beef Chuck Roast
  • 1 piece Onion Chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 cup Carrots Sliced
  • 1 cup Potatoes Diced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Fresh Herbs optional (like thyme or rosemary)

Instructions
 

  • Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper.
  • Place the seasoned roast into the slow cooker.
  • Chop the onion and mince the garlic. Sprinkle over the beef.
  • Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Add sliced carrots and diced potatoes around the beef.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for about 8 hours.
  • Check that the beef is tender and shreds easily with a fork.
  • Shred the beef and stir it back into the gravy.
  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
