Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter room temperature
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon purple gel food coloring
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3-4 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 3-4 drops green gel food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg, sour cream, milk, vanilla, and purple food coloring. Mix until smooth.
  • Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Spray the donut pan with nonstick spray and fill the molds using a piping bag or sandwich bag.
  • Bake for 12-14 minutes, until donuts spring back when touched.
  • Cool the donuts on a rack completely before glazing.
  • In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, heavy cream, lime juice, and green food coloring until smooth.
  • Dip each cooled donut into the glaze and decorate with gummy eyeballs or other fun toppings.
