  • 1 pound cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

Vegetables

  • 1 cup diced celery
  • ½ cup chopped red bell pepper
  • ½ cup chopped green onions
  • to taste Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
  • Add the cooked shrimp to the bowl and stir gently to combine with the dressing.
  • Fold in the diced celery, chopped red bell pepper, and green onions. Ensure everything is evenly coated.
  • Taste the salad and adjust the seasoning if needed, adding more salt, pepper, or lemon juice to your liking.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Before serving, give the salad a good stir and garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.

Notes
