Ingredients
  

For the Pasta

  • 8 ounces favorite pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, linguine, etc.) Choose your preferred pasta type.

For the Sauce

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined Fresh shrimp recommended for best flavor.
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes Adjust to taste.
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup freshly chopped parsley For garnish.
  • 1 each lemon, juice Fresh lemon juice enhances flavor.
  • to taste Grated Parmesan cheese Optional for serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions and salt the water generously. Reserve 1 cup of pasta cooking water, then drain the pasta.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp turns pink and opaque.
  • Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
  • Add the drained pasta to the skillet along with the reserved pasta cooking water. Toss the mixture to combine everything.
  • Squeeze lemon juice over the dish and add chopped parsley. Toss again to ensure everything is well-coated.

Serving

  • Serve immediately, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
