Ingredients
  

  • 1 piece Beef Chuck Roast 3-4 lbs
  • 1 large Onion diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Beef Broth
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • to taste Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Season the beef chuck roast with salt, pepper, cumin, paprika, and chili powder. Massage the spices into the meat for maximum flavor.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil and sear the beef on all sides until browned.
  • Transfer the beef to a slow cooker or Dutch oven. Add diced onions, minced garlic, and beef broth. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  • Once the beef is cooked and tender, remove it from the liquid and shred using two forks.
  • Return the shredded beef to the cooking liquid to keep it moist and flavorful. Stir well and serve.

Notes

Feel free to customize your shredded beef by adding your favorite seasonings or using different cuts of beef. It also works well for meal prep!
