Ramen Noodles Ingredients

  • 2 packages ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets) Each package is approximately 3 oz.

Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil For sautéing the garlic.
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic Freshly minced for best flavor.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use high-quality soy sauce for better flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar To balance the flavors.
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha sauce Adjust to taste for spiciness.

Preparation

  • Boil the ramen noodles according to package instructions without the seasoning packets, approximately 3 to 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  • In a small skillet over medium heat, warm the sesame oil. Add minces garlic and sauté for 60 seconds, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
  • Remove from heat and stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and sriracha. Whisk until fully combined and smooth.
  • Add the drained noodles to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce until evenly distributed.
  • If necessary, return skillet to low heat briefly to warm through without drying out.
  • Serve immediately, optionally garnished with green onions, sesame seeds, or lime juice.

Notes
