Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all ingredients and a large skillet.
  • Heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sauté until soft and fragrant (3-4 minutes).

Cooking

  • Add chicken pieces to the skillet and brown on all sides.
  • Sprinkle flour over the chicken, mix well, and cook for an additional minute.
  • Slowly pour in chicken broth and soy sauce while stirring continuously.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and herbs.
  • Allow to simmer for 20-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (165°F).

Serving

  • Serve the chicken with generous amounts of gravy over mashed potatoes or rice.
  • Consider adding a side of green vegetables and sprinkling chopped parsley on top.
