  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Grilled or roasted chicken works best.
  • 2 cups cooked rice Using leftover rice is preferable for texture.
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn) Frozen mixed vegetables work well.
  • 1 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend) Choose your favorite type of cheese.
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional) Enhances presentation.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken and cooked rice.
  • Add mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth to the bowl.
  • Sprinkle in garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix everything thoroughly until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Top the casserole with shredded cheese.

Baking

  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

Serving

  • Allow the casserole to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes
