Sausage Feta Honey Pizza

Ingredients
Pizza Base
- 1 pound pizza dough You can use homemade or store-bought.
Toppings
- 8 ounces cooked sausage, crumbled Spicy, Italian, or any preferred variety.
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled Fresh feta for a creamier texture.
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup honey Drizzle just before serving.
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven as it heats.
- Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface into your desired shape and thickness, aiming for about 12 inches in diameter.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza peel or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle olive oil over the surface of the dough and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle oregano and garlic powder over the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Topping
- Evenly distribute the crumbled sausage across the dough.
- Add crumbled feta cheese and then sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
Baking
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately drizzle honey over the top.
- Let the pizza cool for a minute, then top with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
