Ingredients
  

For the base

  • 6 tablespoons Butter Unsalted butter recommended.
  • 10 oz Marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

For decoration

  • 1 package Candy eyeballs
  • 1 package Red M&M candies
  • 12 oz Dark cocoa candy melts

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Melt the 6 tablespoons of butter in a large pot over low heat. Stir occasionally to prevent browning.
  • Add the 10 oz of marshmallows to the pot and stir until fully melted and combined with the butter.
  • Remove from heat and fold in the 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal until well coated.
  • Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan and press the Rice Krispies mixture evenly into the pan.
  • Allow to cool for about 30 minutes, then cut into rectangles.

Decoration

  • Press craft spoons into the top of each Rice Krispies rectangle to create antlers.
  • Melt the dark cocoa candy melts as per package instructions. Transfer to a piping bag and create antlers on each treat.
  • Use melted chocolate to attach candy eyeballs and place an M&M as the nose.

Notes

For diverse shapes, use cookie cutters for trees or stars. Experiment with flavored marshmallows and different decorations.
