Reindeer Rice Krispie Treats
Fun and festive treats made from marshmallows and crispy rice cereal, decorated to look like adorable reindeer!
Equipment
- Large Pot
- 8-inch cake pan
- Spatula
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter Plus extra for greasing the pan
- 10 ounces Mini Marshmallows
- 6 cups Crispy Rice Cereal
- 2 ounces White Chocolate Baking Chocolate Divided
- 16 Candy Eyes
- 16 Chocolate-Covered Pretzels
- 7 Brown M&Ms
- 1 Red M&M
- Christmas Sprinkles For decorating
Instructions
- Grease an 8-inch cake pan with butter and set aside.
- In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and mix in the crispy rice cereal until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared cake pan and press down evenly. Allow to cool completely.
- Once cooled, cut the treats into triangular shapes resembling reindeer heads.
- Melt half of the white chocolate and use it to attach candy eyes to the top of each treat.
- Attach chocolate-covered pretzels as antlers, securing with melted chocolate if necessary.
- Add a brown M&M for the nose and a red M&M for Rudolph's shiny nose.
- Melt the remaining white chocolate and drizzle it over the antlers, then add Christmas sprinkles.
