  • 6 pieces bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (about 2.5 lbs total) Choose well-trimmed thighs for better results.
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil Extra virgin for better flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  • In a small bowl, combine ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, black pepper, and salt.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the chicken, then sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the thighs and massage in thoroughly.
  • Arrange the chicken skin-side up on the prepared baking sheet.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 35–40 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and skin is golden brown.
  • Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.

Serving

  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
  • Serve with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, salad, or your choice of sides.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, marinate chicken overnight in ranch seasoning. Broil for extra crispiness if desired. Feel free to add spices for a kick.
