Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups cooked chicken fully cooked and shredded
  • 10.5 oz. cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers crushed
  • 6 Tbsp. butter

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream. Stir until smooth.
  • Add onion powder, garlic powder, and poppy seeds (reserve a pinch for garnish). Season with salt and pepper, mixing well.
  • Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  • Crush the Ritz crackers and mix with melted butter until coated.
  • Sprinkle the buttery cracker crumbs over the chicken mixture. Add reserved poppy seeds on top if desired.
  • Bake for 20-30 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes
