  • 1 cup rolled oats Use high-quality rolled oats for the best texture.
  • 2 cups milk of your choice (almond, oat, cow’s milk, etc.) Feel free to experiment with different types of milk.
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon orange blossom water Start with a small amount if you are sensitive to flavors.
  • 1/4 cup crushed pistachios Chop pistachios coarsely for texture.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Adds flavor.
  • 1 pinch salt

Toppings

  • to taste fresh orange slices For topping
  • to taste additional crushed pistachios For garnish

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, honey or maple syrup, orange blossom water, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir well until everything is evenly mixed.
  • Fold in the crushed pistachios, ensuring they are well distributed throughout the mixture.
  • Divide the oat mixture into individual mason jars or airtight containers. Cover the containers and place them in the fridge overnight (or for at least 4 hours).

Serving

  • The next morning, remove the overnight oats from the fridge. Give them a good stir, adding a splash of milk if needed for your desired consistency.
  • Top with fresh orange slices and additional crushed pistachios for extra flavor and crunch.

Notes

Store your overnight oats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. You can freeze the mixture without toppings for longer storage.
