  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour Sift before measuring

  • 2 cups chocolate chips Choose high-quality chocolate chips

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine browned butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar using a whisk or spatula until creamy and smooth.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown and the centers remain soft.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes
